Default Big hike into BIG RAM country.....

Ok, so the hike today consisted of messing up traffic along I-84 near Phillipi Canyon, parking on the side of the freeway, but it sounds good, right?

Probably saw 50 total in 4 different groups, the most I've ever seen. Impressive group of 10+ immature rams, that was good to see.

Really liked this group of mature rams:



And especially the book-quality ram in the bottom right corner:

They sure are cool animals. I don't know why but I don't have a desire to hunt them. The one animal that trips my trigger that I never had the chance to hunt is a pronghorn. But I could watch them sheep all day. Nice pics

Saw a nice Group of mature Rams on the west end of that stretch the other day.

Nice pics. I always look to high up on the breaks. Next time I'm checking the guardrail first. Where they near MP116?
