Default Elite Archery, ever heard of them?

Been doing some research looking for a new bow. I was talking to someone up in Eastern Washington last weekend that was selling his bowtech so he could buy a new bow from Elite Archery. Thought they were producing the next generation of bow. Anyway, I went out to their web site, looks like they have a pretty nice product, but how much can you really tell just by a web site. Apparently the company was started by someone who left Bowtech under less than ideal circumstances. It was interesting that they were offering upgrades to the Bowtech Allegiance, plus some items from the Mathews line. Bad thing is that from what I could tell, they only have two dealers, both up in Northern Washington.

anyway, just wondering if anyone knew anything more than what you can gather from a web site.

I'd wait until the lawsuit from bowtech is all ironed out before I would buy one. I think they will be a very nice bow if they get the chance to hit the market. Check archerytalk.com for info on elite archery. They talk about them a lot.

I do believe that is the Martin Girl and the bowtec cofounders new Co. Apperantly there was a falling out over at bow tec so there Product designer/ co founder split. Married the Martin Gal and made there own Co. the bow tec guys are sueing. LOL IMHO I wouldn't expect much more from bow tec. and Elite will over take them in a few years. But Id buy a Mathews Just don't like them bow tec's they feel like a tool instead of a bow to me.

That's weird. The difference between my Bowtech and my Matthews almost brought tears to my eyes, and I thought my Matthews was smooth when I got it.

You gotta be kidding right? A bowtech feels like a tool. Wow. After reading some of your posts lately. I have to wonder if you've really shot a new bowtech.

Bottom line. No way a new bowtech tribute or allegiance feels anything less than spectacular in the hand. Unless you're shooting the bow out of spec with too light of an arrow. In that case any bow will feel horrible.

Well I'll tell you this I shoot a mathews feathermax. that said its not parallel limb design like the bow tech. I don't like the mathews limb designs eathier. But Last year I only shot a recurve. I just don't like the feel of the new bows much on either side of the fence. they seam two heavy and the handel is to thin. I also don't like the way they feel when the break over. To me that is more important that the manufacture. Have I shot a BOWTECh? yes every one they make including a few you can't buy yet but thats another story. I honestly don't like the feel of the bow. it feels like carring a hunk of metal around the woods to me and was one of the reasons I now shoot recurves. So the next time you jump me I'll meet you at the hatchery on eagle creek and will have a talk. LOL

That's a little faster than I want my arrows to shoot. I like my set up in the 270-280fps range. That's where I've found the best broadhead flight. With my bow I can be there with a 400g arrow and only need to pull 62lbs. That's why I shoot a bowtech. More speed for less draw weight.

There's some new pics on archerytalk of an elite bow if you want to look at it. Looks a lot like the hated bowtech. Probably shoots too fast. You might want to stay away from them. Maybe get a mathews so it still feels like bowhunting.
