you fishermans and your humongous boats don't have remote start? Probably a dumb question, but I was wondering...?

Couldn't a little twiddle here and there to customize make for once the engine is started shifts to reverse in idle and the boat slides out like a beauty? All the while, the captain only has to hold the bow rope, walk side by side with the boat on the moor, tie up, shut the engine(maybe even through remote? haha!) and doesn't ever have to do any exercise?

Just what happens if the auto kick down doesnt work and you are standing there holding the bow line with the engine in mid-full throttle and the steering pointed towards that nice $60k glass boat across the ramp?

I would suppose that 'Oops' isnt going to cover cost or prevent the beating you will get.

Id rather have someone in FULL control at the helm when the engine is running.
