When does the catfishing get good over there? i have the week of april 24 off and i'm looking to see if the fishing is any good that time of year.Thank you for any help

I got into them there big time in April (forget exactly, let's say mid-April) two years ago. It was warmer that year but I think by then you should be safe.

there are catfish being caught now with cut bait(sucker fish)and should get better.

i catch a lot of big ones with fresh cut crappie out their , first you need to find a deep flat, theirs one right when you reach the bottom of the hill coming from richland.you'll get a bite every five to ten minutes their.avg 10lbs caughts some their last april around 15lbs

April can be good for Catfish at Brownlee, Ditto! on fresh cut Crappie meat, but a gob of Crappie Gut's is all you need.
