Cowlitz Report..

does anybody have a Cowlitz report? How is the river looking, how has it been fishing?

Yesterday, the height and color were excellent at the Olequa boat ramp just above the mouth of the Toutle. I would put visibility at 2'+, which is better than it has been in a while. Expect that it will rise considerably today with this heavy rain.

bump....Is the Cowlitz, Sandy or Clack going to be fishable this weekend? or will we jsut have to wait and see?

Cowlitz raised about 2' since yesterday afternoon, but color is still decent. Saw one bright fish caught by a plunker this morning when I went down to check the water. With the way its been raining up here I expect it will be muddy by morning.
