Default Looks Like Hair Loss to me???

Got a pic of this yearling just a few days ago. Looks like a pretty bad case of hair loss to me. The deer was seen around Eugene.

Yep it does to me also. You can see the poor things ribs. I have a friend in Springfield who used to have a lot of Deer on his land. He has saw one Deer a adult buck on his place in the last year and a half. I have heard the older bucks and does are not as apt to contract Hair Loss Syndrome. Where are we going to be after they die of old age? Scary isn't it. I'm sure some will say they know of areas that hold lots of deer. It does seem to me that these areas do exist. They are not the norm however. I'm telling you that I'm really concerned. We will be lucky to see a Blacktail deer while hunting in a few years if this hairloss thing keeps taking out our deer. :depressed:

I have been saying this for 3 years and every year it's getting worse on the NW coast the bucks being taken are the mature bucks, not as many small bucks so over time there will be less mature bucks. One of the reasons that was sumrised for this is that the mature bucks have to roam futher for the does which makes them more visible.
