Default Sandy Coho?

When does the Sandy start to receive good numbers of Coho? Is the run as strong as the Eagle Creek (Clackamas) run? What would produce and where should I concentrate my efforts?

I was thinking of trying the Lower Sandy or Clackamas this Sunday in the hopes of getting into some fish brought in with our recent rain. Should I use spinners/spoons, jigs, or bait?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I would say forget Eagle Creek this week, even with the rain you can walk across the creek and not get your ankles wet...the mouth where the Clack and Eagle Creek come together might be worth a shot...not sure about foot access,,,been a long time since I walked in from Bonnie Lure...expect the Clack to be low to....maybe the holes at Barton Bridge might be a better shot...pink/white jigs or black/red Bradbury (I know him)1/4 oz. under a clear bobber and no more than 8# test...I suspect what you catch will be Silver Jacks or Summer Steelies...a few black Spring Chinooks are still hiding and will strike out of aggression...break them off, the lure you loose today will help make more nooks later.
