Nehalem reports please.....

I want to take the 4 teenage boys fishing tommorrow.. We just got totally skunked on trout at Foster, one boated a 5 inch bass
(released, oc)and came home to try the Nehalem. Did some inner tubing, because the water was warmer than the air temp's.

With the rain, maybe something start moving??

Fished there today, daylight till noon, saw 3 fish taken in the Wheeler area. Heard of 4 more taken at Nehalem and 7 at the Jaws according to Kelly at the Jetty Fishery. I estimate about 40 boats in each of the above areas, Total:120 boats, 14 fish.

Who knows, tomorrows a new day!

I just talked to my friend who is guideing up there and he said its still really slow
But like the man said tomorrow is a differant day !!!.The fishing is slow here in the columbia,I caught a chinook jack a couple days ago,went out after work yesterday for a couple of hrs,nothing .
Talked to a couple boats that were fishing at I-205 bridge and they only saw a couple fish caught all day,one fish caught in front of Washougal and there was a ton of boats out there.Fish on the Depth finder but there not biteing there moving on !!!!
