Default Info Needed For NW B.C. Fishing (Rain!)

I'm heading out late tomorrow afternoon (Sat.) for a much awaited fishing trip to NW B.C. next week. With recent rains above normal thru that area I'm now concerned about the rivers getting blown out up there . If anyone has some quick suggestions for alternatives, such as lakes or fast clearing smaller rivers, in the Terrace region and up north of there it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks much. - RT

I would recommend you stay home and don't go. The rivers received 5 inches in 7 hours!!! yikes that is a bunch. Ok just trying to get even for the float and sink raft. Wish I was going and don't forget your hefty bag .

Hey Steve here is a suggestion.....shut up and go fishing!!! LOL Relax (there's a word for ya) We have always got into fish there and the only reason I foresee us not getting into fish this year is YOU!!! If we don't get into fish you know we will all blame it on you....and then torture you. I see on an earlier post you banned yourself for a week begining Sunday....that's an example of self justice...i wonder what you will do for that week....will you feel disciplined when you allow yourself back? Can you do me a favor...? If i am ever banned from this BB can you make sure it is in conjunction with a fishing trip...thank you sir and i will see you later today....if it makes you feel better i will call my fish and game cop contacts up there and get a fishing report. Call me when you see this.

Oh boy! Here it comes. FC, I'm going out in the garage right now to get my chestwaders and & helmet; and not for the water either, but for all the other "stuff" I'll be wading thru. And I knew all along that if we have awesome fishing that it will be because of you & Doughball, and if it falters for the first time in years it will definitely be my fault. I'll be the only other variant this year right? Except for ....oh, I don't know .... torrential rains? Oh man, I'm praying that the 50 lb. Kings and 20 lb Steelies aren't covered with mud! My brother looked at extended forecasts on his aeroplanner pilots webpage and there will be some clearer days (he's going to fly up in his small plane and fly me back home if the weather is right)- we'll get into them; even if we have to go fish for 10 lb. rainbows in a lake. See later tonight. (Hey Marty, you got me back. That did send a momentary chill down my back. Talk to you when we get back). - RT
