Default big nookie

My wife and I, and another couple went out of chinook landing about noon today. Neither of our wives had ever caught one, so they had the first chance at bringing one in. About 2, we had a hit, set the hook and off we went. My buddies wife had the pole and was doing great but just wasn't gaining much ground. She kept working, it kept peeling, just couldn't get it. She's new to this, rookie has alot to learn. Were getting close to the 205 bridge when we finaly get to see it, its a monster. After a few tense moments at the back of the boat, with trim tabs and out drives its in the net. 50 big ones. I can see it now, her next one will be 35 and she'll be complaining about how small it is. Had one other hit but that was it, my wife will have to wait till another day.

Trophy Tom great fish, with all the talk of big fish can't wait for the big fish of the Pennisula to come in. Sounds like good old mother nature is making a comeback. Lots of people don't give her enough credit bad or good.

Oh! You're talking about a fish. I thought I was reading an excerp from a romance novel entitled "Big Nookie". Re-read it and you'll see what I mean. .... (please pardon, I'm in one of those silly moods tonight). - Congrats on the big chinook! - RT
