Default FM and Native Coho

I was at Fred Meyer today and was shocked to find they were selling native coho salmon and after I spent 3 days at buoy 10 releasing no less than 2 of those fish each day.....what's the deal????

We also let 2 Chinook go since we had supposedly reached the quota, it was only typical to read that only 6000 had been caught......thanks ODFW.....d..s.....

Coho Salmon are "native" to the Pacific Northwest... just like evergreens and rain. I really doubt Fred Meyer was selling WILD coho salmon.

Yeah, they are either Alaska or Canadian fish.
