Default Found the lighted SPin glow

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...item=421003828
Wazzat! Blinking fishing lures. No fish can resist this lure! Works day or night. Chinook, Steelhead Bass, you name it, we even have reports that they are catching Marlin. Comes in ten different colors, and they all catch fish. This is the number one hot selling lure on the market. Two batteries are included, that will last about a week. Additional batteries are available for $1.00 ea., upon request. Comes with two "O" rings, and instructions. These lures are water tight and you will not have a problem with them leaking. Constructed of durable high tech plastic, they do not break easy either. Plastic threads made of high tech plastic are also virtually impossible to strip. No matter how hard you tighten these plastic threads down, they won't strip. Ordinarily the threads will roll when they are abused, and when that happens you just warm them up with a heat gun and they go right back where they belong. This space age plastic has a perfect memory, we have even ran over one with a car, and went back to catching fish with it. The auction is for one fishing lure, bidder is to specify which color is desired. The colors are, Lime, Chartruse, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, Red, Orange, Black, and Clear. Shipping will be $3.20 when shipped through the post office, within the Uninted States. Bidder must indicate at the time of purchase to include insurance if so desired. Cashiers Checks and money orders ship right away. I am not set up to take credit cards Pay Pal is OK. These lures are made right here in the Great Northwest. I don't know about you, but I eat smoked salmon every day. The Black is actually a transparent black, and the blinking LED can still be seen. Some Bass fishermen insist on black lures. Buyer pays shipping on these auctions, as has pertty much become a standard on eBay. Should for any reason the auction page it'self have become altered, fragged, or hacked by any means, and does not indicate that the shipping charges are paid by the buyer, the seller reserves the right not to ship unless the buyer pays the shipping charges. Please refer to the (ME) iccon next to my name for messages regarding auction status, and in the event that the buyer for any reason cannot send or recieve e-mail, Safe Harbor will be glad to relay messages, totals, and addresses necessary to complete the transaction. If you are not able to recieve e-mail, I will post a reply on the (ME) page for you. Notify Safe Harbor if you have any e-mail problems, and they will be glad to

How many do you get, and how many packages do you have? Are you able to turn them off? Are they heavy? Help.

Bob's in Longview,Wa. sells the Wazzat lighted spin glow for $10.00. I checked out ebay and the minimum bid is $10.75 plus $3.20 for shipping an handling. By my math, that adds up darn close to $14 . Bob's currently only has black and purple left.

I agree these seem expensive if you lose them in one cast. I would defineately be careful with one of these. I am not the one selling these...Just letting you know where I found them, because somebody asked previously and I remembered seeing them. I have never fished or even held one in my hand.

Marty,
I deeply appreciate most of the information I receive on this board, including yours. I did not mean to knock the information you provided. $10 or $14 is a lot for one lure any way you look at it. But you know what, I just had to have one! I bought a purple one, but haven't had a chance to fish with it. I'll give you a fishing report after I try it.
Take Care, Rich

Richter I feel the pull of the lure myself. A cheaper way to make a lighted spin glow is to drill a hole and insert a light stick. I have been experimenting with Light Sticks for several years. Light sticks come in 6 different colors. Spin glows come in more colors than I can count with my shoes off.
To keep the light stick in make sure the hole is small and tight fitting around the stick and then put tight fitting clear water tube around the stick ends to keep it from sliding out.

Smilesforu,
Thank you for finding these for me. They will be an additional weapon for my arsenal as I try to eradicate the salmon and steelhead species. Did you know Luhr-Jensen is developing a lighted Kwikfish? I can't wait to get ahold of some. Why can't Oregonians fish for salmon and steelhead at night? There is nothing like watching a lighted glo stick on the end of your rod, going tic-tic-tic-tic, when suddenly your clicker screams and your rod tip looks like a laser show. Words can't hardly explain it!
When I die it will probably be due to a monster rip in the middle of the night!

I was unaware of the lighted kwikfish. I have looked at the vortex and arc minnow by yozuri, but they don't meet the needs of my fishing requirements. The kwiky will fill some of that need. I will be looking forward to seeing the new lure. I use to be able to get blank clear plastic plugs but can no longer find any ;(. I want to drill and insert the glow stick in a high quality plug. I have figured out how to attach the glow stick by removing the center hook on plugs. This will need some more testing though.
