Default Nehalem Bay Report

Fishing was pretty slow on the bay, we saw 4 fish caught all day including the two beauties Tom and Josh caught shown here from my boat! (Saturday 8/26/00)

Great Picture!! Looks like a great catch, can't help but like the digital age!

We fished the Nehalem Bay on Saturday also. It was pretty slow, I got bored, whip the trout pole out and went to the upper N.F. for those cuts. We landed two really nice cuts one 14" and the other 18 1/2". It sure was a wild ride with the bigger one,and those tail dances are sure heart thumpers.

The Nehalem should pick up soon? Be there next weekend, to try again

I just want to "resurrect" this topic -
1) what a great picture
2) I just might give it a try
3) I know SOME OF YOU are right there with fresh information ...

Is it going to take some rain to bring the chinooks in? Is it like the Columbia estuary where the fish will hang around the mouth & come in and out with the tide? I haven't fished there much, just crabbed & went up the N. Fork and got skunked once ...
