I fished across from columbia city this morning till the the tide changed, our boat got four and everone in the two lines we were around got fish several boats had five fish some had four. we were fishing in 50 feet of water 16oz lead,Alvins,five foot lead lines six foot leaders it was a very good day for everyone there I saw at least thirty fish caught in just 2 hoglines. and yes Im tired and spelled chinook wrong

Thanks for the report WW. Get ready for that swath of fish to hit the Portland to Bonneville areas soon! Col. City to Frenchman's Bar area across from Kelly point should be real good prospects tomorrow (alway unpredictable of course). -RT

16 oz. of weight? I might have to duck tape a couple old poles together...I would die if I snapped my loomis. I have a 15-25# 9' one piece. Any thoughts?

Don't use that much weight just bounce back further,or go by a cheaper heaver pole,or fish shallower water or ? just jokeing :
