Default Success

Well, we went to the kalama just after 2:00 to fisht he outgoing tide. The hog lines were starting to form in 20-30 feet deep water. We followed your advice RT, and anchored a little farther down, but closer to 40 feet in depth. In 4 hours we caught two nice, kings. One was 22 pounds, other was 25 pounds. Both on alvins...or rodney's, or whatever they changed the name to. Warning to anyone heading down there, if you launch at the wdfw ramp expect to be pushing your boat through several spots at low tide unless you have a sled. Where the kalama meets the Columbia the deepest channel was around 6-8 inches deep. Low tide today was prety reasonable, tommorow I hear its going to be -1. Good Luck

Thanks for the input Jeff. And the advise I gave came from reading the contributed Col. reports by various BB members. Thanks all for helping each other out! We are rising higher as a group together and that's really great. - RT
