CA to open salmon fishery inside state waters

Per Jim Martin, our west coast regional director of the RFA has posted on Fishpolitics.org, that California will be flipping the bird to the feds. This should get really interesting.

Do we have the makings of a pi...ng contest of monumental proportions. This one is going to be one to watch as it also holds a lot of potential concequences for our own fisheries.

You older guys probably rememeber the HILDA fiasco,Calif.F&G told the Feds to pound salt then and we got our 3 mile season,not too bad fishing and extra safe because we had cutters,47's,choppers and planes all over the three mile line,cost the Feds a bunch of money..hope they learned a lesson..now the main part..Kurt ya gonna make it to Moss..the PARTY is back on....
