Well, tell us... a stuck boat story is always good if nobody is hurt.

Default what turned em off?

floated 4th bridge to first onthe nestucca sunday
got the big stink.. and it was not for the lack of effort .i pulled
plugsof all colors and drift fished corky eggs, corky shrimp. yarn and various combos of the above.also fished bobber jig .with without pink worm ..fished tailouts ,pocket water, seams ..behind boulders ,trees, etc fished next to the bank ,out from the bank and even straight down the middle nothing!
i figured with the higher water that theywould be higher in the system..is that wrong?
what conditions may have shut the fish off? other boaters we saw had had the same luck
any suggestions, advice would be appreciated thanks

Its a little early for the fish to be there yet.. Think febuary. Most of the fish in the river are brats still and focused below farmers creek IMHO.

I was there 2 weeks ago and there were fish throughout the system. They seemed to be in pockets and bait was the ticket. Maybe most of those pushed up even higher. Typically things taper off this time of year and then start up with more wild fish in a couple of weeks. Most of the fish we got 2 weeks ago were unclipped.
