Super Bowl or Steelies?

Assuming your favorite river is fishable, would you rather be watching the game or fishing hard? Also, if you dare, who will win the game?

No reason not to do both. The game doesn't start until 3:25 PM. That should give you plenty of time to be on the river at first light, fish until 2:00 or so, and be back in time for kickoff. Sure you miss the pregame, but the good commercials don't start until after kickoff anyway. :grin:

NE only beat Colts because weather, slippery ball , and interceptions. Panthers crushed Philly. I think it will be super bowl blowout . Carolina Panthers all way . I'm waiting for Springers .

I'm thinking "both", but in a different way than mentioned. I'm looking for one of those small, cheap TVs that plug into your lighter so we can bonk gators and watch the game. :grin:

How about just listen to the game on your walkman while fishing. That way you can do both at the same time. Won't be the same as watching it but its better than not knowing whats going on. I don't care for both teams this year so I will probably just be watching the commercials and vote for which one I think is best.

I won't be fishing. Instead, I'll be in New England watching the game. My wife is from Maine.
Shouls be some good buzz going up there over the patriots. Final score 31-24 pats!!

If it was the Colts and the Eagles, I'd be watching the game.
With New England and Carolina, I think I'll go steelie fishing and set the PVR so I can fast forward through the game and just watch the commercials.

Well if it's fishable I figured out a couple of years ago I can tape the game and then fish all day, come home and lock myself up with the video and watch it that night.

Bummer, there is just too much water. I am was really looking foward to some steelheading. The superbowl will have too do. But, it looks like i feel a cold coming on. ironically my cold and the rivers dropping back in shape will be on the same day. Whadaya know.

Well, as luck would have it, the rivers are blown out :depressed: and I got fish to smoke anyway!! So looks like it's tending to the Little Cheif till the fish is done and then starting to make the goodies for the big game!! OH YEAH BABY!!! Gotta love it! Can't go wrong with buffalo wings, bratwurst, chicken fried venison steak, chips, 7-layer dip, and much more! MMMMMMMM :grin: Did I mention that I love the SUPERBOWL??
