ebay Tax's?

I need some advise here. last year I sold 8 items on ebay. I was wondering I am I required to pay tax's on it?

I'd check out the forums on ebay, I think it falls under the same category as yard sales, as long as it doesn't go over a certain dollar amount it's considered a hobby.

are these just household items or items you purchased and a reselling ?

If you sold it for more than you paid for it you will have a taxable gain regardless of the dollar value. If you sold if for less than you paid you have a personal loss that isn't deductible, unless selling things on E-bay is your business. Than you get into a larger inventory issue which is beyond what I'd want to talk about for free. I can't charge either - so best bet is ask your tax professional.
