Default Need a Swim deck Fabricated....

I have an older proline with the main motor on a bracket. I would like to have a swim deck made that can be welded on top of the the exsisting bracket and allow me to mount a kicker on it. I would like it to be out of an appropriate thickness piece of aluminum. I am not really sure how thick it should be. I guess I would also need to have the edges "rolled" into a channel to strengthen it and of course some bracing on the bottom of the deck to the existing bracket for extra support. Then of course a spot to mount the kicker on the port side. I was hoping someone might know of a good (as in inexpensive) place to buy the parts and or have this made. It will need to be about 24" by 80" finished size. I appreciate any and all input.

Thanks,

Luke

You might want to check out Bay Welding (Norvelle Boats) in Nehalem. Pretty good work at reasonable cost.
