Default Hagg Lake report

Took my Pontoon out to Hagg on Mon. The weather was blustery with rain on and off, but mostly on!

I dropshotted power minnows off of a deep point leading in to a creek channel. I caught lots of trout on the power minnows and lost one bass at color at the pontoon when it pulled the hook. It felt like a good fish it was pulling drag and really thumping. It was hard to tell what kind of bass it was, all I saw was a spot down there but it looked a little bronze so I am assuming it was a smallie. I was in 35 foot of water when I hooked up.

There are lots of trout to be had there all the ones I caught were 10 inch cookie cutters.

I can't wait till the water warms 10 more degrees to heat up the bass.

Clayton
Water temp was 43.2 to 44.5

Good job Clayton! Let's go fishing when it warms up a bit!
