Default chinook & steelhead

anyone have any idea on what to use for chinook and steelhead in the columbia river? Im going to fish at sauvie island where there is current but not to much. so if you could give me some advice on a lure and color i would appreciate it.

Friends of ours clobbered chinook there last Fall using Alvins. They anchored in about 40' of water.

Howdy,
I was re-reading a Jed Davis artical in S.T.S. and it said the black blade/brass body #4-#5 Pen-Tac spinner was doing great things that year. It always seems to change year to year whats hot though. A couple large Mepp's (orange, orange/chartruse, chrome, brass) are always part of my selection. Have some fun!!

Hi Adam. Check back thru the 3 pages of posts up on the BB presently to find helpful info. you need. Then try the search feature using Columbia as the search word to locate older good posts. - RT
