Default The Ifish Patch

Hi there,

Just got one quote on the patches for ifish.
They will sell for 4 dollars each, if I get enough orders.
Unfortunately, I will not even start this project until I get at least 75 orders, which I don't think will happen, so perhaps the patches might wait. I just can't afford right now to foot the bill. Im kinda out on a wing on the decal thing right now, and although I think sometime I will break even, it is a far cry right now!
So, if you want one or two, I'd love to get an idea of what the numbers are. Be honest about what you want. If I can truly trust the estimate, then when it comes time, I will pay it on my own and not do the pre order thing.
Thanks guys!
Goin out on the Nehalem today to get an idea of what is happening. Will post later.
J

Jen
how big of a patch were you getting quotes on, are they a 3 inch circle? Are they going to be embrodried? Is it the same design as the sticker? Just curious what they will be.

Sign me up for 1 patch.

They will be 5 foot by 5 foot and they go over your head. You sew them neatly onto your neck. They come with iron on stickers that they then iron on to your rear end. Its the ifish coverall patch. They are waterproof so that you can wear them in the rain and not even need rain gear!
Why do you ask?

OK, Iv lost it! I need to fish!
They are 3 inch circles, same design as the decal except they will be in as many as 7 diferent colors, same price. I don't know, what do you think, a pink fish? Purple water? Hot pink mountains and neon green snow on them. Maybe some polka dots in the sky, and pin stripes on the boat.
I really do need to fish, don't I?

Hey Jen. What patch?, What sticker? Have you got any graphics you could post? Sounds like a good thing at any reasonable price. If its worth having count me in.

Wow! Didn't mean to step in it. Guess I better go back a while and read to find other taboo subjects. Sorry Jen, it won't happen again. From now on I'll follow the 2 minute rule. Listen carefully to any conversation for 2 minutes before butting in. Saves you the joy of making a fool of yourself. Thanks for the warning B of E. The bend is your friend!

And Pilar,
You didn't touch on a taboo subject, it was a royal pain to try and please everyone, including myself!
Anyway, it turned out, and I'm happy, and I hope everyone is happy. Go ahead and take a peak, order one if you like! There will be lots of us on the water! Kind of fun!
Are you mad at me B of E? Osprey? does NO ONE Like me anymore? boo hoo!

Jen

Pilar
I am not touching this topic after this post.

I know it was before your registering, but their was a huge ifish community input, into designing a decal for our boats. Lots of opinions on design change suggestions as you might imagine in a group. The final design which was "accepted" by most members can be seen on the icon above "order your decals here". If you want one for your car or boat, send your money and when they are ready (and if your nice and dont ask any questions) you will get them in the mail. The intent was so we can identify each other on the water. The original ideat was to follow with a patch at a later date for your fishing vest/hat etc...
