Default Crab Tags?

My youngster has heard part of a report on the radio about tagged dungeness crabs and a reward. Has any one heard of this? Apparently someone has tagged these crabs and released them at some location on the Oregon? coast. There is a reward for these tagged crabs offered by? Well anyway we don't know much except the what. Any help on where, why and when would be greatly appreciated. Crabbing is the youngsters favorite boating activity. Thanking you in advance.... The bend is your friend!

P.S. If you are so inclined, observe a moment of silence for the men of the Russian Oscar class boat "Kursk". They are all alone at the bottom of the Barents Sea.

Pilar,
Nice of you to think of the Russian sailors. It must be very lonely and scary at the bottom of the sea. I too pray for their safe return.

Thanks Okiedrifter. I think I knew this at one time but forgot. A friend lives near there, I'll call him and ask about it. Sounds like fun! The bend is your friend!
