Default Predator Hunt anyone??

I've got next weekend off from kid duty, so was thinking of heading east. Was going to watch the weather and if it looks dry or cold I might load up the buddies wall tent & stove and go over. Any interest in a little mini predator hunt? The ol man has my elec call so I'm without electronics..aside from the boombox that is.

I would have been tempted, but I have an OHA banquet to attend Saturday night. Good luck.

Same with me. I have some promises to keep this weekend or I'd probably be right back out there. There ain't much in town that has my name on it.

Good luck and give us a report!

I might be heading to christmas valley/fort rock this weekend with some buddies. We were mainly thinking rats/bunnies though. I know it is early for rats but we sighted in our new .17's this last weekend and are itching for some action. If we end up going I will let you know.

Oregonoutdoors, thanks for the offer. Jacks sounds fun but with this weather coming in, I think the jacks will have their heads down. And forget the rats, they like sun. If the weather were going to be nicer some fun in the sun with the rimfire would be a hoot.

Sorry Duck_Master. Lets plan something another time, maybe grab Quack_Attack and pitch a tent for a pre-season turkey scout/coyote hunt. We can actually plan that one. How about a Sunday trip up to some snow park w/ the kids?? You know of anyplace down your way up Hwy22 or something? I think the Pup would like to get out as well.

Ehunter, yea I see the report. But I've stopped listening to those yahoo's on the news and their attempt at weather forcasting. I can step outside and look up and tell as much! Of course I'm just kidding....NOT.

Seems everyone has got other things going on, so I'm bagging the weekend hunt idea and gonna try'n tag up with Limbhanger for a day hunt. (If nothing else we can just talk turkey al day!! ) Just thought if there was more interest I'd drag out the wall tent and do it up right. No big deal, their's always other weekends. Just not much else to do right now. Water's too cold for bass'n, a bit early for walleye, only other thing is steelhead...which is the back-up plan.

The rats are starting to come out in the Bend area right now. Just saw a dozen or so on my way home from town.
