Default Intro and new Ocean Crossing boat design

Hello Salty Dogs,

I'm not currently a 'Salty Dog' but I am a life long sailor, boater and ex-Navy tincan man.

Ran across this new ocean crossing boat design I found very interesting and thought some of you might enjoy it too.

Good thing it is self righting. A long skinny thing like that is probably pretty easy to broach and roll!

Actually Dale with the breeze at about 25 knots and running at about 135 degrees aft, I would rather be in one of these for crossing oceans -

but you know my habits.

That actually looks like a very seaworthy boat. Reading some of the stuff I got the distinct impression that the people building it know what makes a seaworthy boat. I can't even guess what the price would be with all that stabilization built in and look at all the woodwork in the living areas. Mucho bucks for that one.

Welcome.
