Default Fish Finder Help

I bought a Hummingbird LCR 4-ID at a garage sale. It did not come with manual and I will get ahold of the factory for a replacement. However, I would like to know if anyone could help with the transducer location. I would like to do it only once and can't wait for the manual to arrive. Yes, I am impatient, but the fish are getting away.

Mount the transducer on the transom to one side or the other, 1' minimum from your motor.(make sure the wash doesn't interfere with the signal) Set the transducer flush to 1/8" below the hull, start with flush lower it if you don't get a clear signal on plane. Also set the transducer flat or tipped down slightly if getting interference while on plane.

Make sure you pick a spot not behind rakers or a row of rivets or anything on the hull that will cause turbulence. The turbulence will show up on your screen. Good luck

Phunybonz, I had one of those a while back. It was a good thing until I dropped it off the back of my boat. I still have the temperature/speed sensor. E me if you want it. The bend is your friend!
