Default Charleston Slip Space ?

Does anybody know how long it takes to get a slip for a 44' boat at Charleston? I have been on the list for one year and still nothing. I will be bringing my boat back home the end of summer from Baja. This is starting to worry me that there will not be anyplace for my boat when I get there.

Have you called on a regular basis to see where you are. I know Ilwaco has a 2 year wait for any boat needing power and at 30+ foot in length. Have faith.

Seems like there is usually space whenever I have seen the Marina. Not sure about a 45'slip? You need to keep on them-how about a deposit to keep them motivated?? Mark

Keith,

I gave up a 30' slip last May when I sold my carver. That slip is still open as far as I know. It seems that there are a number of slips that have never had a boat in them. These are saved for transient slips at twice the monthly charge. This is starting to look like BS.
