Default Bad Day

The other day I was at a boat ramp and saw an older guy with an older boat really having problems getting it loaded out. Boy, the people behind him were really getting mad. Fishing is all about fun and getting upset at something like this is a real drag. Everyone has a day when things just don't seem to go right and I think a little patience and maybe even a offer to help can really turn things around. We might even make a new fishing friend out of it. Thats what its really all about anyway.

I guess its easier to stand there and gape then to solve the problem. How hard can it be to offer help and clear the boat ramp so everyone can go play? I have no patience for a guy that wants to fix his boat on the trailer during a jam up at the ramp. However anyone can have a bad day. Its totally OK to offer help. You know, the ramp blocker has his $100 nikes on and don't want to get them wet. So wade over there in your neoprenes and help push the boat on or off the trailer. Or not....... have another beer and start honkin your horn. Let common sense prevail.

It does'nt matter if the guy has $200 shoes or $10 volume shoes. Just help the guy or gal. The good karma will help you catch the big one. Hell, maybe the guy with the $200 shoes will offer you a great job and you can buy that jet sled you have had your eye on!
