Default Lighted Spin N GLO

I am a nocturnal Steelhead warrior.
Vortexing is my specialty. I have heard
of a spin n glo that is like a lighted
vortex. I need some new weapons. Where
can I find them? FEAR NO FISH!
(name of my boat!)

Being a Montana native I happen to know this one (if they are still in business). Vortex Lures in Kalispell, MT has (had) several plugs and other lures that came with a tiny cadmium battery in them. They would light up &/or make different sounds; I think including music chimes. Call 411 or (406)555-1212 and ask directory assistance for a number (or the Chamber of Commerce). Let us know what you find out. Thanks. - RT

I have searched EBAY but cannot find them. RT, Vortex lures moved from Montanaaaaaaa over a year ago. They moved to: PO Box 36173
Tucson, AZ 85740
520-884-7988 I have used Vortex Lures the past 9 yrs.Over 750 steelhead, (7) 20+ lbers. 400 salmon to 43 lbs. No fork tongue here. They aren't made too well though.
Because of this, I go thru at least 35 lures a year. So I am always looking for something better. AWESOME web site!

I can't seem to find them on ebay now either. I had looked at them the two previous days to your post searching for some other items. I was the lighted spin glows they had on there. What style of fishing do you use for using this lure? The spin glow or the diving plugs? I will post a link when I find it again.....and I will find it!!

Vortex Fishing Sys. (lures) - 800-638-6337
Not sure if this is the current number. I found it on the www

Seal all seams with super glue. Seal batteries in with aquarium sealant. That way you can still change out batteries. Run plugs back 35 pulls. Smear up plug with shrimp salt smelly jelly. Here is the big secret, small chunk of shrimp on bottom of front treble. Not enough to throw action of plug off, just enough to invite Steelies for dinner. I would run the spin n glos off downriggers with chunk of shrimp behind it. That would be armegeddon on the species. Fish above the dams when water cools down. Look for Fear No Fish boat. This is a winner. Good luck!

Very good tip
I don't do lots of night fishing but when I am fishing this same principal applies for me. Attract them first and then use the scent to get the strike. I don't fish the big river (Columbia) but I have adapted it somewhat on my home turf using mini glowsticks.
