Default Re: Bouy 14

I fished the Washington side by the Megler bridge yesterday and we had a great time.
Fished in 40 feet of water.. Every time we hit close to 40 we hit fish. The checker only reported 1/2 fish per boat. Today, on Wed they reported 1 for 10 boats. But we got lucky.
We had several take downs. One broke off a hook on 40 lb test. One I failed to net right at the boat. (That hurt big time.)
Came home after three hours of fishing with two nice Chinook, one 23 and one 20, and a silver. Trolled slow from the bridge with the outgoing tide. We hit the river at roughly one hour after high. This is when the big action occurred. Like, as soon as we dropped our cut plugs in. (first twenty minutes).
Best of luck.. I don't like it out at 10. I just can't handle all the crowds. Glad I still found some fish!
