Default Boater Safety test at Boat Show, Free.

Went to the boat show today...drooling the whole afternoon.

The Multnoham County Sherrif's exhibit on boating safety will let you sit for the boaters' safety certification exam for free. I think this test fee is usually about $15. It is so quick and easy, and heck, gives you a chance to sit down for a while at the boat show.

My friend and I and each of our two kids, ages 13 and 15, took it cold turkey and all passed. I must admit we were both pleasantly surprised that the kids passed.

If any of you are going to the show this week you may want to take advantage of this very convenient opportunity to satisfy the requirements
for certification, or at least let your kids give it a try at no cost. After correcting your test they give you a certificate that you can send in with the $10 registration fee to get the card.
