Default Sea Gull Charters/

I have been out with them a few times and all has Been great!!!
My question is though is that I have heard a few bad things about them.
Has anyone had a bad trip or experience with them?
You can Pm with your coments if you dont want to post a negative on the board-thanks-Briam

I used them several times. It was a Capt. by the name of Mike. The boat was Miss Raven. He always treated us really well. I was taking young kids and he always had plenty of patience.

He's not with Seagull, but over out of the south marina. That tells me something about seagull if he is no longer there.

I can't speak for all of Sea Gull charters but I can speak for the Captain of the Siamese, Rich, or as everyone here knows him as "Hawg Caller". He not only gets tons of fish but is also very safe. I've personally watched him stay behind and wait for a fellow Dog to make sure they were o.k. while his passengers were expecting to go in.

I asked Rich to attend the Salty Dog Convention on last minute notice and he did. He not only showed up but threw in a couple of fishing trips for the raffle and shared some of his rigging tips for anyone that stopped by his table.

As I said before, I won't speak for SeaGull charters as a whole but I'll give my whole hearted recommendation to Rich and the Siamese.

Went with them once, tried to go with them twice last year for Halibut, but weather didn't cooperate. Going on Nalu this year opening day

The one trip I did was OK, boat was a tad slow @ 10knts so it made the run to the ranch and back a very long day -watched the rocket pass us on the way out, and pass us on the way back before we'd even gotten there - the'd gotten their Hali's and were headed Salmon fishing

I'll second, third and forth Nalu. You won't find a better charter captain, boat, and fishing experience. Plus he's an Ifish sponsor.

I cant speak to sea gull charters either but I met Rich personnaly at the convention and he was a good guy. he talked to my kids directly and treated them well. He acted in a manner that gave and recieved respect for all.

That's good stuff! Where is he anyways? It's fun watching him run.

I'm still around. Just finished the retrofit of the BLACK ROCKET, with a hard cab. I will be out there for fun this year. Will not be chartering as I have been contracted by DoD (Dept of Defense) for the entire year. See you all soon!

That’s funny you should mention the top on the rocket. Mark (Maverick) and I were talking just last night about when you tore Rockets’ top off. How’s your back going to do?
