Default Off to dream land

Since I've been seeing those posts from folks who are new to this board, I thought I'd do one too since my first post was a few days ago.
So my question to you all is this.
"WHAT WOULD BE YOUR IDEAL OCEAN BOAT FOR SPORT FISHING OFF THE COAST OF THE PACIFIC NORTH WEST? And why?"
Off to dream land you go.

If I am going to dream, then I would have to say Grady White. And the why is because they are an awesome looking boat with a great hull for extreme water and weather. However I like Ospreys, Glacier Bay Cats, Nordic! Heck, I like all boats, but those would be my offshore picks. Happy fishn'

A 27' Orca with twin 300hp yamahas, Furuno Radar. Why, It is a dry ride. You cant beat the Lifetime transferable hull Warranty or the yamahas, Deep sided, A cabin you can get more than two people in.

A 26' boston whaler with offshore bracket, twin 150 saltwaters, 15hp honda kicker, oh to dream.
Remember, you want a good safe boat with a deep
hull, good reliable power and a back up source. Enough fuel to get out and back with extra to spare. A GPS nav. system is nice. Just think about how much you can spend and double it, then go nuts and find something.
Have fun!

Any boat will work for me, as long as it floats safly and catches fish. Be happy, stay afloat

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">GBS. Would a 37'x 13' Delta with twin CAT's that holds 350 gallons with Furuno nav-net unit and radar work?

Not that I'm actually in the market for any boat right now.
If money grew on the trees in my back yard, my first requirment in a personal fishing boat would that it is trailerable.
I'd want a "walk around," without a v-berth (because it would be a fishing boat).
Enclosed head.
Powered by twin 4-stroke outboards, preferably on a stern braket. (Even though I'm like the economy and reliability of a turbo marine diesel)
Not sure if I'd want aluminum or fiberglass, but wouldn't have a catamaran styled hull. Probably aluminum.
I guess in the 26-28' range.
Anyway, good fishing to you all, and look forward to the good info that you contribute to this board.

J.D.

Take a look at Skein and Crabbait's boat. That pretty much sums it up for me as far as offshore stuff (23 food EdWing).

Either that or The Black Rockit  ...I still get a big ol' grin thinking about my trip on the Rockit. I'm just not sure I could ever afford fueling that beast.
