Default My Sunday

Well I didn't get to go fishing today, but I did hike in the Olympic National Park. I took some pictures I thought some of you nature lovers would really enjoy.

Great pics Marty! And I'm definitely one of those nature lovers. The Olympics look so similar to the B.C. coast ranges. When I get up there to fish an overnighter I hope to get time to drive up to Hurricane Ridge for a panarama view and pic session. I've only seen it there in picture books, and since I can only hike short distances, that would be a good place to for me too look around. - RT

I'm gonna have to check ou the pics. But hey, RT, I was just up at Hurricane Ridge on Sunday. Hiked the upper trails. I'll bring one of the maps for you to have. Just remember it's a fee area, so if you don't have a season national park pass you will have to pay a few bucks. (I have a seasons pass for Oly Nat Park). Klaloch Beach isn't too bad RT. It's mostly a steep quick hike down, but flat at bottom. I can give you more of a scoop later. (There's also up SolDuc hot springs and a hike up to the falls up there, it's gorgeous). I'm gonna go check out the pics now.......

Where did you hike up there? That was the most people I have ever seen up there. I was on hurricane hill and the Top portion of the Elwha ranger Station trail. I will have some pictures of obstruction point area from earlier this year when the fiancee develops the film. I will scan some of the good ones and add them so others can see some cool stuff.

If you guys haven't done so already, get over sometime to hike and view Glacier National Park in NW Montana. You will love it forever! - RT
