Re: St Louis Ponds this Sunday
Salem Retriever trial Club is hosting a picnic trial on Sunday morning at St. Louis Ponds in Gervais. I will be there with several training group friends. Live flyers will be available for a minimal cost. It's a good time to ask questions about dog training etc. For details, PM Tilla for information on start time and cost per dog. HT

Re: St Louis Ponds this Sunday
I just wanted to thank all involved with the picnic.
Luke was excited beyond belief and showed we both have quite a bit more to learn.
We had to leave early but we both enjoyed watching the other dogs run and talking to the other handlers/owners
Thanks again,
John Bee

John..nice to meet you and the other Ifishers that could make it. I'm sorry we didn't get to spend more time talking but Tilla stuck me out in a blind throwing duck. I hope you enjoyed it. HT

Re: St Louis Ponds this Sunday
I also stopped by for a couple of hours this morning, although I don't think I introduced myself to anyone. You all looked sort of busy. I hear there's one next month? My dog and I might just have to give it a try....
By the way--whoever that was with the little puppy--thanks, I think. My wife left saying, "we could get another dog or a cat, right?"

Re: St Louis Ponds this Sunday
I'm glad I finally made it out to one of those. I joined the club and will definitely try to make it out in April. Thanks again to all the volunteers!

Re: St Louis Ponds this Sunday
I think my pup will be finished with training (at least back from the trainer) by the 2nd. I think I'll head up to the picnic! Sounds like fun.

That's the one. I was the guy in the green jacket there with his wife and the yellow lab that just watched.
I'm putting April 2 on my calendar.

Re: St Louis Ponds this Sunday
BrotherWolf,
I found Luke's pedigree and was wondering if "Tank" was related.
Sire: CH Sharay Abraham of Greenbank VCD1
Dam: Spiritwood Midnight Echo
Breeder: Richard Hale/Deborah A Neal

Re: St Louis Ponds this Sunday
Hey guy`s, I had a great time also! This was my first time at one of these events and I loved it. I am the guy with the 5 month old black pup. I diden`t get to meet everyone there but I will make the rounds at the next one. I also became a member.

Re: St Louis Ponds this Sunday
I wasn't too creative since he won't be breeding....
They gave me "Bee's Luke"
If and When we get another dog...it will be a female and we'll come up with something unique
