Default Washougal River garbage

I decided to fish the Washougal river this morning after a long night at work. I had heard there were a few fish in the river so I decided to try my luck. My first stop was the lower public access boat ramp and after I climbed down the bank I was shocked at the amount of garbage, beer cans, and other debri I found along the river bank. The Washougal is a beautiful little river that i have spent many pleasurable hours on the last 25 years and it saddened me to see it in such a mess. I picked up as much of the trash as I could and still be able to climb up the bank but ther was alot still left. None of the trash I found was fishermans droppings (styrofoam bait cups, mono etc.) but apparently summer time swimmers.
