Yamaha VMAX question

Am looking to repower my 22 ft cat and think I have found the motor I am going to use but am entertaining other ideas. I have found a newer VMAX at a reasonable cost. After looking at Yamahas website I am left wondering if it would stand up to constant salt usage. Yamaha does not seem to designate any of their motors as saltwater versions but did list a few more corrosion resistance options on the normal hpdi than the VMAX hpdi. What say you?
