I think the only place for Col. fall fishing is on the north/Col. side of the Island. There is a road out to the area often refered to Soc. Sec. beach because it's often fished by retirees. Anyone remember the name of the road?

The road is Reeder Rd. 'Soc.Sec. Beach' properly known as Collins Beach is about 11 miles from the Sauvie Island Bridge. A ODFW Sauvie Island parking pass is required. The Cracker Barrell Store, just over the bridge is most convenient source.

The nude beach is past Collins Beach, so if the fishing's slow there's at least some entertainment value.
