Where to go?
Hello all! A friend and I don't get a lot of time to fish lately since we both have very young familys with kids under a year. They aren't quite ready to fish with us yet! But anyhow I am somewhat new to the north coast. I am used to fishing southern Oregon coastal rivers such as the Coquille, Millacoma, Umpqua, Elk, Sixes, Rogue and Chetco to name a few. But that was a few years back when I was in my 20's & 30's and I am in my 40's now living in Portland now. We have somehow managed to squeeze our wives out of this coming saturday and we need some help choosing a coastal river with conditions that will be a good bet for success in getting into some chromer action. PLEASE HELP lead these 2 old horses to some decent water! Any help will be greatly appriciated and we will be sure to post any success stories here on ifish. We are thinking of mainly floats and jigs but are not opposed to traditional drift fishing either. By the way, congrats to all of you for being such a great bunch!
