Default Understanding the Hatch

Man oh man that was just awsome. As we were showing up everybody else was leaving....Thats right they were leaving before it even started!!! We left at 630pm to go fishing. Got in the water around 7. It started slowly with a few fish jumping with a slight breeze on the water. The wind began to die down and the fish really started attacking the hatch. The last hour and a half the water looked like it was raining. Five fish jumping next to the boat simultaneously, double headers!! Ok so the fishing was excellent.

The caddis hatch hits its peak an hour before dark...STICK IT OUT!! But hey thanks for letting us have share the lake with only ducks.
