Another good day of goosin

Today I got the opportunite to get out on some private land with Hardcorefowler,steelheader22, and another buddy of theres. There was definitely no shortage of geese in the area. We ended it early though due to the fact that most of the geese were cacks. In our last rally of the day, we hammered 5 geese in the flock.(4 cacks, 1 tav) That gave us our limit of cacks so we decided to bag it instead of trying to pick the few tavs out of the thousands of cacks.
All in all it was fun. We shot 8 geese and spent some time in an area that we don't get to hunt very often.

We will need to get out on the lower river this upcoming fowl season in my new duckboat, but you will have to cover the gas, because my boat is goign to have me in the poorhouse for a stretch. :smile:
