Default Changing from rollers to roller bunks Info Please

I have an EZ loader trailer under my 18' Hewes, that has rollers now. I'm thinking about putting roller Bunks on it.
We need to push the boat off a lot of the time so we "NEED" some kind of rollers, but often on loading the roller on one side will slip up over the side of the boat making it a great struggle to get back off and load it again.
The bunks should make the boat set a bit lower too. Is there any trick to changing them, will I need some kind of special brackets??? The roller bunks look like they will cost around $150?? Any Info, Pros or Cons?? Thanks "D"

Are you sure the rollers are adjusted right?

The roller bunks that I had didn't treat my boat right...

I can not answer your question about how to change the rollers to bunks, but if want to be able to roll the boat off, perhaps a roller toward the bow, and bunks to support the boat when off the water.

My 1997 Shoreland'r has this combination and its works great for my Arima. Very easy to unload and load, even by one person.

There is about 3" space on each side.

move the closer so you only have about 3/4"s of an inch on each side and try it.

I had them closer but the boat is heavy enough to just spread them apart and get stuck in cross current. There very heavily built too.
