Good campgrounds in sw washington, nw oregon

Some friends, their 2 kids (4 and 9) and myself and my wife are going to be going camping shortly. Due to certain requirements we must find a campsite with running water/toilets. Does anyone have any good suggestions on places 4 hours or less from Portland that will offer the ladies and the kids entertainment, as well as at least decent fishing for us? BTW, Monday I fished the upper canyon on the Kalama from first light for an hour or two and hooked into a bright 8-10 pound fish. I then proceeded to do a "long release" agonizingly close to the shore. There are fish everywhere. I'll be going back tommorow morning.

Oh yea, sorry for double post but I'm also looking for a website that might review or have pictures of campgrounds and state parks.

A few years ago I stayed at a camp groung 5-6 miles east of Cathlamet called Skamokawa it was neat because the big ships at high tide would come close to the bank next to the camp ground and some sites were right on the river bank. While I was there a guy hooked a sturgeon plunking from a lawn chair. I do not know about water/rest rooms/ ect. You might look it up on the net or gazetteer map.

Do a search for Oregon State Parks. You should find their home page right away. They have pictures of many of their parks and list any particular park's facilities with a check mark type of list. I do not know about Washington though I would guess they have a similar site. Fort Stevens near Astoria is a good park and near the ocean. I think it has all the facilities required and is near to bouy 10 which is coming up.

Oxbow Park run by Metro is a nice spot. I not sure about flush toilets and running water in campground - but it is a nice spot, playground and sand pits for kids, trails, scenery and the Sandy river. Good plunking, drift fishing, hardware or fly-fishing. And you are close enough to Gresham to go out for dinner. They also have excellent evening campfires run by the Metro staff and guests (evenings) and other programs. Wonderful spot for families.
