Default thanks dogs!

I thought the convention was very well organized and informative, and best of all, I met some really nice people.
I'll be back again next year, and bring my wife along. She'd enjoy it too.

Did anybody test knot strength for top shots, braids, etc? I remember some dogs were going to do this. I've been eagerly awaiting other peoples' results.

Brad, Thanks for coming and supporting us with your donation. I know Taylors viewpoint was absolutely thrilled to get it in the raffle

Paddler, we did some very informal testing of the spectra loop /finger splice.. there were 3 pulls that I saw and on all of the the mono broke at or near mid mono. no knot breaks at all. as far as the spectra failing grade on knots .. I dunno but that splice connection works super!!!

I agree whole heartedly. I was only able to stay down for the morning. Met a whole bunch of real nice people and sure did enjoy talking fishing. It has been a long time. This was done real well Bravo Zulu to the organizers. I had a great time. I will definately be looking forward to the next event and should be more prepared. Just wish I could have stayed for the whole event.
