Hang in there. The light at the end of the tunnel is almost in sight. Springer season starts in about 6 weeks +or-. Good time to take the boat out into the Columbia R. for a shakedown cruise and possibly pick up an early Salmon.

It all comes back to Keta ,Bad fish ,OceanBlue , pilar and Mr fisherman ,,thay sent/gave us a case or two just to get us hooked ...
Imagine these adults taking pleasure in getting an unexpecting family of "rednecks" hooked on such a drug.

Skein
Skein: ..actual results may vary, my Sony digital cam came with a special "marketing filter"..It has three value added features:

1.) Makes rough waters appear smooooooth
2.) Makes every fish photo a wall-hanger
3.) Doubles /triples..as a VHF, EPIRB and handheld radar , rod holder not included..

I need a drink now

ID P..glad to hear you are getting all the toys and a convention :smile))

tomictime,
20 years ago +or- I spent a very nice afternoon soaking in those same hot springs. After our much needed bath, we paddled our kayaks south and were only about 200 yds. from shore and hooked up bright Silvers. Great meal when your living out of a kayak for a week. One of my all time favorite spots and memories. Later in the day we had a whale surface between the 3 kayaks, I have a picture tucked away someplace of the whale and 2 kayaks, I will see if I can find it and post it. Thanks for posting the pic.
BajaDan

Found it in an old picture frame. Looks like one of the kayakers was trimmed out to make the picture fit into the frame. He was on the left side, just off this picture. The whale came up between the three of us.

Bajadan, thats a way cool, pucker factor photo

They have a small cabin at the dock of hot springs where you can get an espresso now...after a couple of weeks in kayack, that would be great - it was super after 10 hours on the boat

More pics on some other thread - soon...
