Overdue thanks to WF101 and unamed Ifisher

Had the pleasure of catching up with Jon and his dad last Monday. Was a great day, and it was really fun to hunt in a new area.

I would also like to thank that Ifisher who let us hunt his pond for Geese. I would name him but I'm not sure he wants his generosity to be exploited. Of course Muphy's law states that the birds only fly when you're out picking up the dekes! Sorry we couldn't do a better job of getting rid of those pesky geese!

We were also lucky to get to hunt a great spot with the land owner’s son. It is always fun to meet new people. Unfortunately, both the spots we hit had too much water for the dogs and they had to stay in the truck. But you know what they say it’s a dog’s life...


Going to cook up the results by making some smoked sausage tonight!!!
