My son is doing a report on bigfoot :shocked: in the north west and he wanted me to ask all of you if you ever sean anything like tracks and what not [img]graemlins/idea.gif[/img] I know I told him its hog wash but its for a report so true only pleas feel free to pm. me the thing I do for kids

HahAH he's been diggin up crap on the enternet all day. hes found some elk hunter in washington that clam's he has seen a pair on a ridge for three years in a row. Makes me wonder how much captin morgan he takes with him. funny my son realy thinks there out there. should make for a fun first hunting season this year. :grin:

Well I used to go Mt. biking with this guy that one day told me his encounter with "bigfoot." he said he was Mt. biking with a friend up by Mt. St. Helens and was just flying down the Mt. when he looked up and saw something about 8-9 feet tall run across the path in front of him. He swears it was a "bigfoot" and said it looked just like what you see on TV. Then he explained to me how he doesnt like to tell ppl cuz then they think he's nuts or something. He attended a few of the meetings they have for "sitings of bigfoot" or whatever, but said it was just filled with ppl who are interested in stories and not ppl that have had a "real" encounter....

I believe Howluck, one of the Snake Indians that gave the early settlers such a bad time, was often called Bigfoot because of his, yep, big feet. I have heard that he was the catalyst for the phoney feet that started the whole legend.

Have your boy look up Howluck - and maybe in more places than just the internet.

Tell him that if there was a bigfoot, someone, somewhere would have shot one or at least found a carcass, or one would be hit by a car, etc. I was reading an internet article from a guy who swears bigfoot exists and he said it was all real simple - the reason why there were no carcassas is because Bigfoot is a time traveller and they take their carcassas to another time period to bury them....what a wacko! :shocked: :shocked: :shocked:

I've got a pair of homeade plywood bigfoot feet that I wear around the neighborhood early in the AM when it snows.... keeps the kids busy for hours trying to track him down.

Sightings listed by state/county etc. More than you would ever imagine.

Some of the stories are quite compelling. I don't believe, but at the same time I have to keep an open mind. There's new critters being discovered all the time.

The one statement that got me thinkin was....and I don't remember exact wordings, but something like.....since 1950 or so, 43 planes have gone down in the cascade range, never to be found.

If 43 planes can be concealed in the dense forests of the cascade range, why can't a small group of intelligent bigfoot do the same?
