cheap over unders?

So why are the IZH over unders so cheap compared to others?
IZH MOD 27 12ga 26in o/u shotgun ~ $450
are they junk, not well made, loose..what?

Not familiar with that gun, but i know several people who have bought brand new O/Us in that price range who get a nice surprise every now and then when both barrels go off at the same time! Talking about leaving a mark!!

Cheap for the no frills wood, and very thin nickle plating.

my buddies baikal shoots both barrels off at once about every 3rd shot. Ive seen quail get disinigrated by it!

I have had problems with "doubling" in several doubles when they were being broken in.

In all cases the doubling has stopped (thank god) after about 250 rounds.

But it was a bit frustrating at the time,

Sounded king of like a Howitzer
