Re: IS SPORTS PAC A GOOD WAY TO GO?
I do those things too, only I might shoot a bear if I see one and it looks nice, and I'll darn sure take a cougar if I get a chance....
When I get a Sportspac I've got all the bases covered right up front. I've gone that way ever since they came out, and this year is no exception.
I can't think of anything else that provides me as much year-round enjoyment for anywhere near the price.

Re: IS SPORTS PAC A GOOD WAY TO GO?
Buy the Sport-Pac. For what you intend to hunt, you're getting the bear, cougar and turkey tag for a dollar! For those guys who hunt big game only and fish, it's not worth it. But if you bird hunt also, it makes it a good deal. I just wish ODFW would snag a clue and include the new shellfish lic. in the sport-pac!

Yep it's a winner if you are going to hunt/fish what you listed you get the extra tags for free. Now I can always shoot a predator if I am out in the woods and get the oportunity and the sports pac made a turkey hunter out of me.

Re: IS SPORTS PAC A GOOD WAY TO GO?
BrainMaquire your wrong. No Shell fish tag, thats another 6.50, since the bird hunting has been so bad, will probably just go hunting/fishing splite a bear cougar with one of the boys and call it good.
